This place is Halal . Amazing staff and great fast service . The amazing food will be prepared just as how you'd like it...spicy or not spicy. Small location but very clean no doubt. The Thai tea is amazing do not forget to order that too. Halal.

I didn't feel like making dinner and allowed myself to get a takeout (which I rarely do) one night from this hole-in-the-wall place and it was great! They prepared the food quickly, and the portions were generous. I got pat see ew, tom yum soup, crab fried rice, and drunken noodles. They were all yummy, but I'd say the crab fried rice was a bit too soggy for me. There is a parking lot in front of the business which is always a plus.

I'm a fan! Veggie Chicken Drumsticks with a side/bed of rice... I'll take all the servings and then some... Sweet & Sour, Garlic & Pepper, plus the Spicy version too! Have only done delivery from Lam's so far, and each time I fall for their savory mix of of flavors and packaged fresh Chinese cuisine with a vegan menu that does not disappoint. Absolutely try the Pad Thai. The veggie chicken, veggie beef and tofu are great protein options (haven't had the veggie shrimp, but I'd imagine it's of quality). It's a little small inside from passing by, but hope to dine in one of these days. You can find them in a medium size plaza off Victory Blvd, just east of Lankershim, next door to Uhaul. Park in their lot as well as street parking. For sure hidden gem/treasure vibes all the way.

I've been here a couple of times now. When I'm looking for my halal Chinese or Thai fix, it does the job. Service is consistently great, friendly and attentive. Most recently, I'd ordered the orange chicken and beef & broccoli entree. It was delicious, fresh, and plated nicely, as is everything at Lam's. The orange chicken has a slightly different taste than other Chinese restaurants I've been to. It's a tad less sweet, but amazing and feels healthier. Thai ice tea was delicious, and hit the spot just right on a hot day. Yellow curry had nice portion size and was yummy. A few knocks that have nothing to do with the food; The place itself can use a more vibrant atmosphere. It can get pretty dark in the afternoon. There wasn't a fan or AC last time I'd went, which can make things a bit uncomfortable during hotter weather. However, the food, affordability, it being halal, the service, and bountiful options all more than make up for that.

What a great find! It was basically random. I was at a friend's house in the area and I did a quick search for "Chinese food." Lam's had the best Yelp reviews, and I always trust lots of 4-5 star reviews from my fellow Yelpers! I called in my order for take-out. They do have delivery but I think the minimum order is $30 in a three-mile radius. It's located in a small strip center with some other restaurants and businesses. There aren't many spaces but you can also park on the street pretty easily. This is a very simple restaurant. I think most people do takeout here. There's not much of an atmosphere, but to me, it just adds to the charm. It's a super simple place that has great food. In my book, that's a big plus! I had pad thai noodles with chicken. $13. It was ready when I got there about ten minutes after I ordered. It was a very generous portion. It could easily feed two people. It was delicious, not super oily like some pad thai can be. It wasn't spicy but they include a packet of Sriracha and it spices it up just right. If you like it super spicy, you might ask for an extra packet. I had a Thai iced tea to go with my pad thai. It was quite nice. They also have a vegan menu. I met the manager, Jairo. He's a great guy. A hard worker, and he's very proud of the restaurant he runs. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. It's a great find.
